How Download CapCut For PC

Method 1: Install CapCut from Microsoft Store (Recommended)

  • Open Start Menu:
    Click on the Start menu and find the Microsoft Store app (it looks like a blue shopping bag). Click to open it.
  • Search for CapCut:
    At the top of the Microsoft Store, click the search bar and type “CapCut” (without quotes), then press Enter.
  • Find the Official App:
    In the search results, look for “CapCut Video Editor” published by Bytedance Pte Ltd. That’s the official app.
  • Open the App Page:
    Click on the CapCut icon to open its full page in the store.
  • Download the App:
    On the app page, click the blue “Get” button on the right side.
  • Confirm Installation:
    A window will pop up asking you to accept terms and conditions. Click Install to continue.
  • Wait for Download:
    The app will begin downloading. You’ll see a progress bar. It should only take a few minutes.
  • Launch the App:
    Once installation is complete, you can find and open CapCut from the Start Menu or in your Microsoft Store app list.

Method 2: Install CapCut Directly from Website

  • Open Your Browser:
    Launch your preferred browser (like Chrome, Firefox, or Edge).
  • Go to the Website:
    In the address bar, type “capcut.com” and press Enter.
  • Find the Download Button:
    Scroll down the website until you see a large yellow “Download” button. Click it.
  • Choose Windows Version:
    On the download page, click the Windows button. This will start downloading the EXE installer file.
  • Open the Installer:
    Once the download is complete, go to your Downloads folder and double-click the CapCutInstall*.exe file.
  • Allow Permissions:
    If a security prompt appears, click Yes to continue.
  • Run the Installer:
    The CapCut Setup Wizard will open. Click Next on each step and accept the terms and conditions.
  • Finish Installation:
    On the final screen, click Finish to complete the installation.
  • Launch the App:
    You can now find CapCut in your Programs list or on your Desktop and start using it.

Method 3: Use CapCut Online (Web Version)

  • Open CapCut Online:
    Visit https://www.capcut.com/editor in your web browser. The CapCut online editor will open.
  • Start a New Project:
    Click “Get Started”, then click on “Create Video” to launch a new video project.
  • Upload Your Videos:
    Click the “Import” button on the left side, then choose video files from your computer. you can add several at once.
  • Add to Timeline:
    Drag and drop your video clips into the timeline below to start editing.
  • Trim Unwanted Parts:
    To cut out extra parts, drag the edges of each clip inward on the timeline.
  • Add Transitions:
    Click a clip, go to Transitions > Crossfade, and choose a transition style to create smooth changes between clips.
  • Enhance with Effects:
    Use the left sidebar to explore Text, Overlays, Filters, and more. Drag any item you like onto a clip to add it.
  • Add Background Music:
    Click Audio on the left. You can either search for music tracks or upload your own.
  • Export Your Video:
    When you’re finished editing, click Export at the top right. Choose your desired resolution and file format.
  • Download the Final Video:
    Once the video is processed, download it to your computer.

Method 4: Use an Android Emulator (Not Recommended)

This method is not recommended because emulators can be slow and use a lot of your system’s resources. If possible, use the official CapCut for PC version for the best experience.

Steps to Install CapCut Using BlueStacks or LDPlayer

Step 1: Download an Emulator
Go to bluestacks.com and download the latest version of BlueStacks. Install it on your Windows PC. It lets you run Android apps on your computer.

Step 2: Open Google Play Store
Once BlueStacks is installed and launched, it will look like an Android tablet. Find and click the Google Play Store icon.

Step 3: Install CapCut
Goes Play Store search bar, type “CapCut” and press Enter. Find the official CapCut app and click Install. BlueStacks will handle the download and installation automatically.

Step 4: Sign In (Optional)
When CapCut start for the first time, you can sign in with your Google or Facebook account to sync your projects. This step is optional you can skip it and start editing immediately.

Step 5: Start Editing
CapCut is now ready to use! Start a new project by importing videos from your computer. Use all the available tools to edit your video. Once done, export and share your creation.
